Software Developer

Your goal will be to develop new features and improvements for the eazyBI business intelligence web application.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • perform full cycle of development – understand the needs and requirements, implement a solution, create automated unit and integration tests, validate solution with colleagues and users;
  • develop using Ruby, JavaScript, CoffeeScript programming languages, the Ruby on Rails framework, the Mondrian OLAP reporting engine, other Ruby, JavaScript, Java libraries;
  • use MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL, and Oracle databases;
  • participate in technical support of eazyBI customers (2-week support shift in about each 3 months).

You should have previous experience with Ruby, JavaScript, and SQL databases. You should have good writing skills in English. Previous experience with data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence tools is desirable but not a requirement. Preference will be given to candidates who are located in Latvia.
